This is our redneck chair. It's amazing what you can do with about $50 and some creativity! Hey, what can I say were rednecks! We just grabbed an old chair that was on the street corner being thrown out by a 90 year old man. We then found some parts at a garage sale which included an old circular saw engine, a bike chain, piece of wood, lawnmower wheels, and a sprocket, and some electrical wires. Originally we wanted to have it run on car batteries, but the local police department said we would have to register it to be road ready. I was like??? What? I need to insure this? So we did not go that route needless to say. I returned the car batteries I bought to walmart. Check out Doo Doo Motors (http://www.doodoomotors.com) our next project in the works. We strongly believe in green technology and hope this will be accepted into society!

  • A 12v car battery and an inverter would power the circular saw motor then you could be free of the extension cable.

  • Very cool!

  • @sacr3 its all in torque a 2 horse hit and miss could easily pull five people if mounted on a frame and drive train

  • Ugh.. I hate how they call it "horsepower". 2 horses can easily pull a pack of 5 people yet a 2 horsepower motor can barely move a single person.

  • There are cordless circular saws that run on batteries. But the powerful ones are very expensive .

  • awesome job thank ya

  • some portable car battery chargers have outlets on them if you have one you could plug the saw into that and loose the leash

  • i found a powerwheels car and put 2 car batteries and a heavy duty motorcycle battery in it.

  • looks cool...maybe hook a wagon to it with a generator in it so you can cut the leash.
