Excerpts from the DVD that accompanies the Exceeding Expectations project that is currently running throughout schools in Manchester. The project brings together over 14 partnership organisations and aims to combat homophobia within schools.
The DVD compliments a piece of Theatre In Education created by Hope Theatre Company which tours schools city-wide twice a year. It has currently been seen by over 2,000 pupils.

I'm in year 10 at school, and nothing's done to stop homophobia. I've been cyberbullied, picked on in school, sometimes even right in front of teachers, and gossiped about numerous times. I'm also bullied during PE- I daten't look anywhere in the changing rooms or some of the girls accuse me of perving on them. It's awful how homophobia is actually tolerated and accepted by some people! We need something like this in our school! x

and another thing I just came out at work to all my co workers I feel so relieved when I talk about it and alot of my friends there are so excepting I am so proud to come out to all and so should everyone else who comes out of the closet....
