In part one of this tutorial, I demonstrate the 5 classes of organ sounds, what the pitch numbers mean, and a few mixtures.

In part two, I show how to use couplers, tremolo, volume/cresc pedals, tutti, cont'o and solo buttons.

  • Melorama i love playing the organ, but am not too perfect with my manuals. should i start learning the pedals now? or should i perfect my manuals

  • @kelechichiemeka It's never too early to start learning the pedals. It could give you a break from working on the manuals. Good luck!

  • Your registration at 6:18, isn't that a cornet registration on the swell?

  • I can't remember the registration. I think it was a trompette mixed with 2-2/3 and maybe a 1-3/5 stop.

  • This is interesting. This video is getting me oriented on the organ- my friend asked me to play organ for a wedding at the end of the month.

BTW- I love your examples (Arirang? Hahaha).

  • Now that is an LDS chapel if I've ever seen one. Where are you from? I live in Orem, Utah and I am also an organist.

  • Nicely done, hope to hear from you
