  • It is the most horrible stand I've ever seen, well suited for a 1000$ uke...

  • yes we understand that there are stands that you can purchase for this amount or less, but where is the fun in that! Thanks for a great little project. It will be a gift for my sweetie on V day!

  • Oh man I'm disappointed. I clicked on this from the suggestions bar and it just said "How to make a $10 ukulele"

  • Could have bought one but decided to make it instead, I'm glad I did it was fun a quick fun project. Thanks for this one..

  • Great idea if you already have PVC, etc. around the house. Otherwise, most music shops have basic guitar stands that will hold a uke for less than $10. I got one from Elderly Music for $7. No problem holding either a tenor or concert. Don't have a soprano to test.

Also note that certain nitrocellulose finishes MAY interact with the foam tubing. Best do some research on your specific uke. I can't post links, but search "bubble wrap touching nitrocellulose guitar" and you'll have plenty to read.

  • Unfortunately here in Australia, its cheaper to buy a basic ukulele stand from a music shop than it is to build that =/ ~$40 for all the connectors, pipe and insulation. Really cool idea though!

  • Is that an EPIC L.O.Z shirt from hot topic that I see???

  • Que da hora!!!

Adorei! Obrigada pela dica, muito legal!

  • threaded...?

  • Outstanding ;-)
