  • U can use celery if u cant find rau moung

  • Look like u making pho

  • @ 5:20, the vegetable you're talking about is called water spinach, traditionally vietnamese would use a water spinach splitter to tear it into strips of edible portions, looks great, and tastes much better. Also, the reason why "you can't go wrong" with spicy beef paste in enhancing the soups flavour is because it contains huge amount of msg unfortunately.

  • damn still takes an hour to cook the broth, wish there was an instant meal of this hahaha...

  • Mi so ho nay!

  • My mom throws in a pig foot (Gio heo right?)

It's really yummie, pig foot isn't as disgusting as it sounds, it's actually chewy and tasty :D

  • Thanks for the recipe, It looks great . I like the pigs feet in mine too.

  • I am vietnamese and basically what i add and what many people add are pig trotters. they are very tender and lovely!

  • Thanks for your instructional cooking - an easy way for amateurs like ourselves !

We'll try your other recipes ....

  • Looks yummy, thank you :)
