  • @IceProCanada yes but would she train on it? this stuff sounds better than others...but personally i wouldn't use synthetic unless necessary.

  • @Ggirl91 It is a bit harder to skate on, but that's what makes you a stronger skater! It will eventually dull your skates just as real ice would. We've had many figure skaters on our ice who had no problems, including Michelle Kwan who said it was the best synthetic ice product she has skated on. I have a great video of Michelle performing her routine on our synthetic ice, please send me an email: rstaple@icepro.ca and I will send you the link! Thanks!

  • @IceProCanada synthetic ice is not good 4 ur blades...its also much harder to skate on...its alright for public skating (although my sister said she couldn't move on it) but not for figure skating. theres different types and maybe this one is really good but i know it takes a lot more effort than real ice and makes ur blades blunt.

  • @cabaretparadice Michelle Kwan who opened the synthetic ice rink in Marina Bay Sands in Singapore performed 2 routines flawlessly and claimed it was the best synthetic product she had used. I believe she is a champion and looks like she enjoyed using it in all the pictures!

  • So, sorry to tell Not really.Spins: very difficult to keep balance,4 a camel spin U can turn 4 turns only. All jumps, receptions R very difficult, U can't stop the rotation, special if do triples toe loop/flip, forget the over jumps, Dble axel is possible. You must say & know when U go 4 the 1st time on synthtic Ice, U have to have a lot of sharpeskate and found new balance.I'm perform on this "ice"since 6years. Im pro skater, If UR a champion, U won't enjoy it, for fun it's OK.

  • @IceProCanada u can, but i'd think u'd have to adjust. i reckon its not as forgiving if ur rocking onto ur pick, bit like skating on reli cold untouched ice

  • @pianorina23693 There is no re-surfacing required, it's not real ice and does not require cold or water. It's essentially made from a special type of plastic. You would just need to clean off the surface how you would clean a floor in your home, with soap and water.

  • @IceProCanada but it'd be a lot harder to resurface, wouldn't it?

  • @dilahk927 You can spin on synthetic ice, no problem!

  • @pianorina23693 No it doesn't wear out the blades any faster than real ice and the toe picks do not damage the ice over time anymore than turning and pivoting. Some plastic will come off when you stop and move around, just as the same as real ice when you product snow - same thing.
