Film: The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
Year: 2001, 2002, 2003
Director: Peter Jackson
Song: Towards The End
Artist: Within Temptation
Album: Stand My Ground (EP Single)
Lyrics:

The turn against
The world we know
Now our destiny will be decided

We have to send our brothers in arms
With pain in our heart
We watched them go
Will they return?

Truth is we had no choice
We'll try to shield those we can
No better world
Let this end.

Mothers cry
Our boys die
But we'll stand
Until the end.

  • I wish that Middle-Earth existed....I'd prefer living there than in this ridiculous reality. Who's with me?! :3

  • @KittyBoy96 me :)

  • Okay. What I understand from this video:

Legolas hits on Arwen. But she rejects her and go with Aragorn.

After he tries his chance on Galadriel. And fail again.

  • @empyrionin

Actually, nope. Tolkien hated allegory. He also said in a letter that if LOTR really was based off of WWII, Men would have taken the ring to use as their own, and the Hobbits would have been utterly annihilated. So... yeah. :/

  • @JasonBourne535 Also he is Darken Rahl in Legend of the Seeker, which happened to have been shot at the same time as Spartacus Blood and Sand. Which made him, several other actors and crew members film one, pack their stuff, arrive at the second set, and continue filming. One big happy family. Did YOU know that?

  • @KittyBoy96 Middle-Earth was created in order to be a metaphor for our very own world, in which civilization is at the brink of ruin in the face of an outstanding, evil foe (Sauron/Hitler) whose armies threaten the very existence of all that is civilized. To be at that edge, when you know the battle ahead decides the fate of humankind, to have on your shoulders the lives of nations (the Royal Air Force ring any bells?) is to have been part of the Fellowship, the real, unromantic version.

  • Looking for the LoR song where the elves are singing in "elvish" and they all have really deep voices. Anyone know where that is? o:

  • IT DOes NOT eXIST???????

  • Suddenly........ SPEHSS MAHREENS!!!

  • @KittyBoy96 Doesn't it exist then? how do you think they could have made all this if it didn't? :D

  • I have official added the name Nienna (fr.o.m. Silmarillion). Why don't we just build our own worldwide?
