Why would anyone like Avatar better than Titanic? Avatar is a movie with good graphics that's it. But if you died on the Titanic and your character was in the movie, how would you feel if everyone likes a different movie better just because of the graphics?

Titanic is my favourite James Cameron movie and I think the music, costumes, storyline and Kate Winslet made it.

Why can't I summon up the desire to see Avatar? I want films with real people in them, with real skin!

@ERiiCAxx7 Cameron does not deserve all the credit, except for lending his name to it. There were many behind the scenes who made the story come alive. There is a reason why Kate was asked to dye her hair red similar to mine. A reason for the garnet colored dress (my birthstone). There is a reason I asked Billy Zane to be in the movie. A reason I wanted someone new to play Jack who resembled a young Kurt Cobain.

i am a titanic fan but i do own avatar. my biggest problem with avatar is that it was a tech film. as a result, what made it watchable in theaters can't be said for dvd. it becomes far more apparent when watching on dvd that the plot is unoriginal. some people may like it and i hope you enjoy it the way i enjoy titanic, but i just don't feel avatar.
P.S. can't wait to see Titanic in 3D.

In my opinion, titanic is soo much better. why? well avatar is a movie, but titanic is a movie that was emotionally astounding. TITANIC IS AMAZINGG. James Cameron has found his absolute perfect job.

Please don't put Avatar anywhere near Terminator, Alien, The Abiss or Titanic. It was an overrated movie.
