ok we were in the same deal. to save money i would shop on craigs list for the cage and then get feeder mice instead of pestmart or petco. they are just as good if not better. feeder mice are mice bred to be fed to snakes. then just calculate how much bedding and food will cost for a month. make sure you have a water bottle too. and for toys they love toilet paper tubes. they also looove things to climb on

i am 100% with u i also want a pet mouse :D good points get 2 female mice they dont smell and they wont be lonely if u buy a pair , mice are very smart ,cheap the food is cheap and they need very little space ! they are so lovable !!! :)) show this comment to ur dad and he will probably buy u one if not then Dear Dad buy ur daughter that mouse she will have something to take care of and it will teach her resonsibility !!!yours sincerely Dominika 12 year old girl
