Today, Macquarie University celebrated the opening of student study spaces in the new library. This opening adds an additional 572 study spaces, complete with OneNet Wifi access and USB Drive printing capabilities.

To celebrate, a human chain was formed from our old library to the new, with the book "Moving the Library" by Peter Spyers-Duran passed along. Prof. Steven Schwartz, Vice-Chancellor, loaded the book into our Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).

  • I never seen a study space and a library this high tech. This will encourage students to read and study more often!
