VL high flow T3 turbo - 418kW on E85

Shaun's immaculately built VL turbo dyno tuned at JPC in Thomastown.

Making 418kW @ 7900rpm to the rear wheels, this car runs on E85 ethanol and more impressively still retains a high-flowed upgrade of the factory Garrett T3/0.63 turbo by JPC.

Engine is still the OEM Nissan RB30 SOHC. This car has previously run into the 9s over the quarter mile using the same turbo.

They are factory HSV wheels, the car uses a std exhaust & inlet manifold and a std throttle body. Engine has rods, pistons and a hydraulic cam upgrade.

And how much do one of these highflows cost?

Besides the fact running a car on that ramp rate at that power level, the dyno

would read 50ish rwkw lower than someone dynoeing on a "typical 6 cylinder ramp rate anyway
