Interview with James H. Austin neurologist, Zen practitioner, and author. We spoke with Dr. Austin before his presentation at the Schiffman lecture in Religious Studies on October 14th of 2010. Dr. Austin is perhaps best known for his book 'Zen and the Brain.' Dr. Austin answers questions on the tradition of Zen and the future of research in the field of meditation and the "plasticity" of brain change.
