Just had 10 more puppies (boxing day), still didn't touch the cords and let her eat all 10 placentas. Their is so much goodness in them, it's a waste for her not too.
For one, it boosts supply and if she has a large litter... Surely she needs that added boost!!!

Why are you cutting the cords? We had 6 puppies April 2008 and never needed to be so involved.

@MzAlexandra911 You do when she has eaten too many, no more than 5. Any more and she risks vomiting as its simply too much.

That stuff is a lot of nutrition for the mother dogs, you dont have to take it away.

Just wanted to say thanks for these beautiful videos of your Daisy and her pups. Our gorgeous liver and white, Luna, is almost 4 weeks into her planned pregnancy and is starting to show now.. we can't wait until d day! Daisy seems just like our Luna.. wonderful temperament and as good as gold! We love her to bits!!!
