I understand the effort to make something different, but it has too many problems:

1) it's shaped like a f'n piece of wood! it doesn't belong anywhere and it's too big

2) the beaking system can fail in too many ways

3) at 0:10 : wtf is this clock? how do you set it up to go off at 6:25 for example?

4) by the way, how does it "know" what time it is? how do you check?

5) you'll drop or move the clock when pressing the top button, because it's not in a flat position

and I'm not even a designer!

People love unusual home crap. Even if it isnt logical in anyway. I bet the price tag on this clock would be substantial...but OF COURSE someone would buy it. Cause its unique. Doesnt matter if it actually works to them. They might not need to wake up, just show off their new wood clock that replicates a woodpecker. I bet bird enthusiasts would love this impractical thing.
