Our country was founded on a belief in God and this has already been removed from our public schools including the inspired Pledge of Allegiance which instilled patriotism and respect for those who have given their lives that we may enjoy the freedoms that we currently enjoy and unfortunately most often take for granted. God bless America!

  • We must go back to our christian faith.

  • Amen to that one. Thanks for your comment!

  • Let us never forget our origins and always give our thanks to God for all that we have, are and will ever be.

Beautiful, let us hope those who want to rewrite history do not remove the founding fathers from our history books or take away our 1st Amendment rights. God bless America!

  • We are founded on Judeo-Christian principles.

I hope we do NOT forget that!

  • Duty to God under way: Young men already realizing blessings

Youth leaders say quorum leadership is integral to program's success

  • @TheAteapotist The Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule are using the two most cited. There is NO need discuss something you do NOT understand. However, yes, according to ALL Judeo-Christian moral code, homosexuality is an abomination. What good does it do for society?

  • @omiolo1 which ones? the ones that advocate stoning disobedient children? that wonderful principle is only a few verses away from 'homosexuality is an abomination'. Pick and choose? You are following your own moral code whether you are aware of it or not.

  • @mainestategop "In the affairs of the world, men are saved not by faith, but by lack of it." - Benjamin Franklin

See, quote-mining gets none of us anywhere. All we have left of the founders is their legacy, and their documents. The Constitution is what they have given us, and it is godless. Authority is given by the people, not by God. "We the people... of the people, by the people, for the people." Not Jesus. Not Yaweh.

  • Thanks for your comments, it is true they had varying beliefs but they I think you would agree they had had a strong belief in a higher power and in the teachings of Jesus Christ. This is evidenced by the many things still visible today. I find it ironic that today some would attempt to remove our national historical monuments removing all evidence of God and, in fact, re-rewrite history in their own agenda and image. I have very powerful feelings in this matter.

    In God we trust!

  • Once america did that until the 1960s once congress banned it things went down our education has has been destoryed and in response america has the lowest sat scores in the world with 3rd world countries surpassing waaaaaaaaaaaaay above us.

  • i just think it's interesting that they upheld the moral principles while only endorsing a vague sort of faith.

    very nice video.
