For a warm and hearty meal, try this simple lasagna recipe.

To complete this How-To you will need:

1 lb. ground beef
2 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
15 oz. ricotta cheese
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
26 oz. spaghetti sauce
12 lasagna noodles
Equipment:
Skillet
Mixing bowl
13" x 9" baking dish
Aluminum foil
Roasted vegetables

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit while you brown the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain, and return it to the skillet.

Tip: Make a vegetarian version by substituting roasted vegetables for the meat.

Step 2: Combine half the mozzarella cheese, half the parmesan cheese, and the ricotta cheese with parsley and egg in a large mixing bowl. Mix well and set it aside.

Step 3: Add the spaghetti sauce to the meat in the skillet. Fill the empty sauce jar with a cup of water, replace the lid, and shake well. Pour the water into the meat mixture and stir.

Tip: Make the meat sauce in advance and store it in a closed container in the refrigerator.

Step 4: Cover the bottom of the baking dish with 1 cup meat sauce. Spread a layer of three noodles and one-third of the cheese mixture. Repeat this process for two more layers. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Step 5: Cover the lasagna with aluminum foil. Bake it for 45 minutes, and then remove the foil. Continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until heated through.

Step 6: Remove the lasagna from the oven and let it stand for 15 minutes. Cut into 12 squares, and serve.

  • I LUHVZ MEH SOM LASANYA XP

  • 1. Why would you take the meat juice out of it? It gives a lot of flavor!

    2. Seriously, why isn't there any recipes with REAL homemade tomato sauce instead of dolmio bullshit?

    3. For the person that wrote, that you're supposed to cook the noodles first, you're wrong. If your sauce is juicy enough, lasagne plates are SUPPOSED to soak it. (Therefore giving it more taste)

-Sorry, i just had to get it out, i've seen too many 'how to make lasagna' videos that just weren't good.

  • @VampireSisters1017 nothing just saying
