News clip from WDTM 2 News, Vandalia, OH. Cintas Corporation normally washes uniform shirts and pants in its industrial laundry facilities. However, when a request came from the US Army to wash 500 pieces of equipment weighing nearly 3,000 lbs. Cintas gladly accepted the task.

Troops from the 705th Transportaion Unit had just returned from a 1 year deployment in Iraq. Normally each soldier is responsible for cleaning their own equipment.

Cintas' generous act saved the Army thousands of dollars. Cintas cleaned heavy duty sleeping bags, ponchos, gun covers, and canteen covers. The cleaned equipment will be reissued to troops for training or possible redeployment.
