    There are FOUR (4) strings on a traditional violin or fiddle...FOUR. Always have been--for HUNDREDS of years. Remember Vivaldi and Paganini? First, this is an ELECTRIC violin--electrically modulated. SECOND--it has an EXTRA string--FIVE STRINGS--sort of like a violin with a VIOLA string added at the bottom end. Guitars hav e 6 strings, not violins or violas--both have 4. This one is modified.... ;)
