Ps Yes a GROWN woman cried in front of me because i would not take her moms credit card to pay for her stupid costume jewelry. I even talked to said mom on the phone...who cursed me out and reassured me it was her card. Making me not want to take it anymore than I did before (BESIDES it was store policy not to take someones card unless they were the name on the card). Eventually the girl gave up and pulled out a wad of cash and explained to me that it was HER money and that she would rather save her money for herself and use her moms money on useless trash that she would probably wear once and then throw away....Yeah.

@Ari01 You realize that most banks offer the option to get additional cards for other users...

I understand the concern here. but ive had many occasions where i was asked for ID and the card was my mothers because I was sent to the store to get something by my mother who allowed me to use her card. I know its for safety. But there should be some sort of like...fingerprint system or something so that if a card doesn't belong to a set amount of users, then it can be declined.

I work at a sub shop. A girl came in with a card that wasn't signed. I ask for an ID. She says, It's my boyfriends card I'll get him. A guy came in saying, yeah it's my card it's ok. I ask for ID, he says, I don't have one but it's my card it's ok. After a bit of back and forth left. Being called in we already had the food made and weren't sure if he was returning or not. So I call and say, This is_from_are you coming back? He just says, No. You screwed up. Fucking idiot. Then he hung up on me
