Hand signals reallllly ease training along. My two year old Eskimo responds very well to whispers and hand signals. I've heard this from a lot of other Eskie owners as well. Beautiful dog you have!
My older eskie would not catch treats :P then one day when she was like 2 years old I tossed a treat at her without thinking and freaked out cause I thought I was gonna clap her right in the face but she caught it :3
Well If u want a treat thats easy to see yet doesn't harm ur dog.. I use cesar treats. Their made for small dogs but if u cant get some get big dog treats like dog bacon. Cut it into small pieces and wola!
im getting an american eskimo dog soon. im pretty thrilled but im wondering about what brand of dogfood i should use, or how much training it requires, and health issues.

Try using popcorn... it moves more slowly and is easier for the dog to see.
