@yellowsaffron ok... thank you for explaining... :)

@PUNETA123 No, you only need 2 oz of potatoes. You are only making 4 pieces of gnocchi. ;)

there is an error on the recipe written at the beginning...it says 2 oz of potatoes and it should say 2 pounds of potatoes

how about the idea of baking gnocchi????
mpakisoul 1 month ago
@mpakisoul You can boil the gnocchi in plenty of salted water; as soon as they float to the surface, drain well and add a couple of spoonfuls of tomato sauce, then put in 4 individual oven dishes.Top with 2 more spoonfuls of tomato sauce, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and add a handful of mozzarella cubes, then place under the oven grill for a few minutes: when the parmesan cheese turns light brown, it's ready... this is gnocchi sorrentina!

Nice video.
How long does it take to cook the gnocchi ?
I know the video says until they begin to float but I´d like to know how many minutes approximately should I leave the gnocchi in the boiling water ??
Thanks :-)

@YTfancol It depends on their size, let's say about 2-3 minutes (max 5)

I dont hae that tool that you use to mash the potatos. Is there a different method I can use?

@12jordanolson You can use the fork to mash the potatoes, if they're very soft, but it will take more time
