  • thats it I sell da NDS! lol.

  • Can you please name the tools used in this through a list please coz im planning on buying the equipment and im not sure what soldering iron to buy,.. this will be my first time repairing my ds myself

  • You may need to replace your game socket if the ds doesn't recognize a game when inserted or if a connecting pin is broken or corroded. If it's just dirty try a cleaning kit with isopropyl alcohol. Or try inserting a new game a few times.

  • How do we know if we need to replace the game socket? Is there a way to test this to see if there's just a bent pin or what can go wrong with it to need the replacement?

  • Thanks for the video. It's very clear and instructive.

  • @qazimable

hey, try tinning the soldering iron with solder (Lead Solder FTW!) and connecting it with the solder on the DS, it should transfer the heat better and melt it, it should work with even a 10w soldering iron

  • His website ends in au so he's in Australia.

  • can you come fix are ds we live at glace bay nova scotia please my dads begging you

  • @chilopopcorn Yeah, it should work the same way.
