Back again with another FL Studio preset creation video. This time, it's a 303 bassline recreation. We will be using a single TS404 channel.

I really do think that unless you get out and try to make your own presets, you won't know how to create that truly unique sound. A lot of people still stick to the synth presets pre-packaged with FL. Those are there only to show you how the synths work :)

2008-07-27: To those wondering how I added the modulation effect, when you have the Piano Roll window open, you can right-click that blank gray panel on the bottom left and it will allow you to set parameters for each note such as velocity and panning.

  • I like to show examples of how someone can create their own good sounding patches in FL Studio. Most of the presets aren't really that great, and you don't always find what you're looking for. If someone can take this and learn more about creating their own patches to make their own music sound more unique, I've definitely achieved what I'm hoping for by uploading this video.

  • @saxxonpike oh wow... envelope, not environment, you downer...

  • "Enviroment?" smh haha

good patch but I don't like the TS404 at all. Its got alias problems and it'll give DC offset sometimes.

  • nice tune, do you have it uploaded somehwere?

  • Hi #UN# if you are looking for good hip hop samples check out my page

  • ENV = Envelope not Environment.

  • the preset is aviable??

  • awesome melody

  • @saxxonpike Thank you so much for this video! I uste to write only orchestral music because making a cool sythn was just frusterating, but since you broke it down it seems a lot more of a reachable task! MORE VIDEOS PLEASE LOL :D
