On New Year's Eve 2011/2012, Disneyland presented what they called "Random Acts of Disney" between performances of Fantasmic, using that show's projection and special effects systems to entertain the crowds waiting for the next show. This is a short clip of the Muppet Bohemian Rhapsody act, with the video projected onto the Fantasmic mist screens, along with laser and light tower effects.

To answer the question of when did they have time to plan all this? When the fountains were put in they were wired in such away that they can be changed electronically from the master ControlRoom located just off center below the frame of this movie. If you want say a movie screen up pops the three main sprays and the projector all probably by two clicks of a mouse. Planning for this was built in from the get go!
