What you describe is horrific. I have an uncle who has been missing from 1974 whan the invasion happened (presumed dead). My only question to you is when do you say stop to all this. If you really want it to stop it must start with yourself. Martin Luther King, Ghandi and Jesus paid for peace with their lives. Although they had the choice to retaliate they didn't. I would argue they were more morally right and achieved more by not retaliating than they would have if they had retaliated.
