IN PERSON: 30 POETS sampler film

Six poets from the DVD-book IN PERSON: 30 POETS, filmed by Pamela Robertson-Pearce & edited by Neil Astley (Bloodaxe Books, 2008): Selima Hill, C.K. Williams, Brendan Kennelly, Anne Stevenson, Imtiaz Dharker and John Agard. Pamela has been filming poets reading their work for Bloodaxe's archive, website and DVD-books. We will be posting further films of individual poets on Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook and the Bloodaxe website: this sampler video shows something of the range of the poets featured in the filming programme. Since IN PERSON came out in May 2008 we've continued to film more poets, and there should be enough films for another wide-ranging international DVD-book in a couple of years' time. The video section on the Bloodaxe website now has films of readings by all 30 of the poets included in IN PERSON, and we're now starting to add new films of other poets. See:
