  • Sometimes I wish some of the young people today would hear about how it was during the Depression. My Grandfather talks about it alot. You are a young whippersnapper compared to him Bill. :)

  • Tommy where did you serve? Yes there is a lot of things I wish the young uns could expierence. How old is your grandpa?

  • I just so love your accent, could listen to you all day long

  • I served in the USAF at MacDill in Tampa Florida and Hill in Layton Utah. Grandpa was born in 1922 so he is 84.

  • Bill, THE Depression was a universal theme and ended in a food-throw-away culture... I remember two slices of bread per week after the war, the empty mayonaisse jars made a whole meal...first oranges to be had when I was 12...

  • I'm a farm girl and I've been scratched by a millon kittens - lucky for me nothing bad every happened!

  • Nice, Bill, but very short. I've known folks who had to have the rabies injections and all agree they are painful. But they may have saved your life, so worth the pain, huh?
