@1prouddemocrat - that's not really her take on the murders. She is stating pretty much what was said in court by his defense. He was not found guilty of murder, only manslaughter.
@IvyLeagueAssassin When recalling major events from the past, certain details might sound futile and insignificant to outsiders but fundamental and unforgettable for those who went through those events. For some reason(s), Ms. Feinstein sticking that finger in the bullet hole became a big moment from that event that she still vividly remembers. Relatively speaking, it must have made a bigger impression on her than other moments around it. Everyone would prioritize these differently.
Lived through this in SF. Feinstein did an admirable job in the aftermath and since, and has earned my respect based on how she responded in the face of this tragedy. Harvey Milk is a hero. Too easily forgotten is all this is George Moscone--fine human being, dutiful public servant and ahead of his time in so many ways. Dark days for the City.
Feinstein was at the heart of this tragedy, with that known i find this interview very strange at some level. She recounts the murder of two of her closest colleagues only as a milestone in her political career. She then goes on talking about sticking her finger in the bullet hole on Harvey Milks dead body...what is that about?

@Seattlecarnut -
abundancia or abbondanza- it means abundance or richness in Spanish and Italian but is used as a fancy word in English.

What was that word Feinstein used to describe how George Moscone lived? He "lived life fully, he lived it with___."
