Part2 of the 1982 TV-Documentation about Kraftwerk produced by Austrian television (ORF). It's the last vis-à-vis TV-Interview with Ralf Hütter. For anglophone viewers I`ve subtitled the interview. It was aired on the occasion of the release of Kraftwerk`s Album "Computerworld" and their following World-Tour. This part contains Kraftwerk live performances of: Die Roboter, Heimcomputer / It´s more fun to compute

NOTE: I´m not a professional translator - it is just supposed to be a little help.

  • Is that version of The Robots released?

  • No, this live-version of Roboter isn`t available on an offical release.

  • Whats the song that starts at 4:06?

  • It`s "Europa Endlos" ( eng. "Europe Endless" ) the opening track of the album "Trans Europa Express".

The user anTONYM2M2 has made a very nice video for it which you can find here on youtube. Check it out ( it`s on my favorite list of my channel )

  • @stereoloov yes life imitating art

  • Ich mag Kraftwerk . Sie sind die beste.

  • @ScissorsKick Better example of our "daily narcissism" being used in a Kraftwerk song is the Hall of Mirrors. That is one hell of a dark and melancholic song. And so innovative for it's time. By 1986 every single one (hands down) of the even a little darker post-punk bands had taken their share of that songs atmosphere, Joy Division being the first one.

  • I must say I've never been so struck by the beauty of the german language than when I hear Ralf speak...can any german speakers tell me; does he speak a perculiar kind of german or something? Or like particularly "high" or cultured" german?

  • Have sex with I mean... fuck is a bit vulgar for such elegant characters

  • If only I could have FUCK them ALLLL at this time aahahha

  • Thank you for the translation. Ralf is a very bright chap.

  • What kind of arguments went on? I can't find the answer anywhere.

  • Hall of mirror
