Smokie - Lay back in the arms of someone 1995
Released 1977

If you want my sympathy
Just open your heart to me
You get whatever you ever need.
If you think that's
too high for you
Oh but baby
I would die for you
When there's nothing left
You know where I will be.

Lay back in the arms of someone
You give in to the charmes of someone
Lay back in the arms of someone you love.
Lay back in the arms of someone
When you feel you're a part of someone
Lay back in the arms of someone you love.

(Instrumental)

So baby just call on me
When you want all of me
I'll be your lover
I'll be your friend
And there's nothing I won't do
Please baby I just live for you
With nothing to hide no need to pretend.

Lay back in the arms of someone
You give in to the charmes of someone
Lay back in the arms of someone you love.
Lay back in the arms of someone
When you feel you're a part of someone
Lay back in the arms of someone you love.

(Instrumental)

Oh I know you think that's
too high for you
Oh baby I'll die for you
When there's nothing left
I'll be with you.

Oh lay back in the arms of someone
You give in to the charmes of someone
Lay back in the arms of someone you love.
Lay back in the arms of someone
When you feel you're a part of someone
Lay back in the arms of someone you love.

Oh yeah

  • Alan Barton´s last TV-appearance, before he died a few days later, after a tragic accident - in my opinion he was the best and most charismatic singer Smokie ever had ... Alan you are sadly missed ...

  • det är en mkt bra låt

  • Alan Barton was created to be the frontman of Smokie. The one before and after, aren't bad either, but no one can compare to this guy. Too bad he went away too soon... gone but not forgotten.

  • You `re so different tonight 1992

  • @Bdsmslaveable very good ! But probably a hardcock drummer would be more up your street / ass .

  • @stuzzzart this is a stupid insult about a great man, who no longer is with us and who was married happily and has also a son, Dean Barton, who is a great singer, too -- so he was not at all gay ... be careful what you say ... this comment should be deleted !
