@burlearth I wasn't saying that Uli is better than Jimi because his guitar has more frets and I certainly wasn't disparaging Jimi or his playing, but you can't deny that it takes a very high skill level to play a guitar with a 6-octave range. Regardless of the reason why, Jimi never did it. Obviously, Uli took a lot from Jimi's style and would be first to acknowledge that. Even Jimi had his influences. Uli broke new ground by developing a unique instrument and playing it like a virtuoso.
