  • this not the nutcracker... this the sugar plum fairies dance song. =o

  • @PyroSeraphim I decided against replying to this, but I changed my mind. I understand and know very well of the entire ballet that Tchaikovsky wrote. It says in the description it's from the "Nutcracker Suite" Since this is the only remix I've done from the entire ballet, I just made the title a play on the name of the ballet itself rather from the name of the specific piece. Also, "song" pertains to a specific musical form which most classical-modern music does not have.

  • I've always been curious....how hard is it to create a remix of your own? You seem to be really good at it, so I thought I'd ask you. I know a bit about music, as I play a few instruments, but I know nothing about different software and whatnot. I'm not a computer genius, but I use one on a daily basis and I'm a fast learner when it's something I like.

  • @Laifgozon I don't really understand your question... I have been playing piano, drums, and guitar since a very young age. Along with that, I have been studying composition and music theory. I guess with the experience you develop a keen sense of how music works, so it becomes pretty easy to hear and identify certain musical concepts or elements. Figuring out the notes is actually the easy part, but the real challenge is to make something fresh using something that has been done.

  • This is amazing! hope you dont mind but I would like to use it in a Burlesque routine

  • @Tally813 Go for it!

  • This is lovely, I made a very good friend of mine who loved classical remixes listen to this. :)

  • @DJMelancholicAngel Thanks! I don't think I'll be putting anything up too soon though. I'm just doing A LOT or learning right now. Spending hours at a time just experimenting and making tons of mistakes at the moment. :) I'll be sure to upload whenever I finally create something presentable. :)

  • @Laifgozon Thanks! Glad to hear you can put up with criticism; some people can't. I'm going to subscribe to keep informed.

  • FLP PLZ!

  • @DJMelancholicAngel Thank you for taking the time to leave some advice. :) I'm going to go ahead and take a shot at this stuff...

  • @letspretendxc0re You answered my question pretty well. I've been thinking about trying it out for awhile...I guess the only way to find out is for me to try. Thank you for the advice, and keep up the awesome work!

  • @Laifgozon My best advice (I remix too) is to dive in, but, start with free software (google search: Digital DJ pro, Audacity, etc.) and start with free songs, like, most of my songs, I'd let people download and remix. Just give credit and start slowly. :) Good mixing! Also, if you really get serious, "boy in a band" is a great source for little "tips" although I hardly follow all their advice.
