how do you like the kx?? i hear they and the rmz have cooling system problems..

The 2004 KX250F / RM-Z250 both had serious cooling system problems, but they mostly fixed them for 2005 (my KX). My bike got a little hot up there in the slow, technical, uphill, high-elevation trails -- but so did the other 250Fs in my group.

Aside from a few issues here and there, I've been VERY happy with my KX.

how would you rate these trails(1-5) in difficulty? im an ok rider and am lookinig to take my drz400 up there.thanx.

The trails range in difficulty from 2 (relatively easy, good for your DR-Z) to a 5 (like parts of Rattlesnake Canyon that are very narrow with steep cliffs). If you've got a map, you can easily keep to the stuff you're comfortable with. I HIGHLY recommend heading up there, though. Heaven on Earth!!!

I was using the standard-definition GoPro HERO wide, mounted on a Chesty. I just got my GoPro HD last week and I'm stoked to start getting some videos.

The bike is an '05 KX250F. It's set up for MX, so it wasn't the best choice for a weekend in Kennedy Meadows. Ended up doing fine, though.

@duffman8699 thats good, im lookin into a new bike and cant decide.. hows the kx on gear ratios and power?? i like low end but could settle for a lil on the top end side. but i need something im not going to get bored of after a year or two

sweet.. bike looks orsm i just got a go pro hero wide and your vid quality looks pretty good. even though a hd would look even better. look forward to seeing more of ya vids mate, cheers!
