I have a newbie question.Let's I'm in D1 position. That would be an E.So then i go to D2 an F# ..do i need to keep first finger down as well as second finger to produce that f#? or can i simply go to D2 with second finger only? sorry if unclear.

Great! I was thinking in something like this when I suggested that you teach Suzuki book 1. Please, more like this one. Thank you very much, teacher Todd, I truly appreciate your effort in posting these videos. God bless you.

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. My kids are currently taking violin through the Suzuki program after school and your videos really help to drive home what they've been learning. Thanks to you and your very detailed teaching, I'm even thinking of trying to learn violin myself! Imagine, even at this age! :)

Thanks for share with us your experience. My english is very basic but I try understand you. what do you think about put some tips in spanish in the box ? You could use a traslation dictionary.
This can be a good idea for your spanish pupils. Think abou that please.
It's amazing how the easiest melodies sounds great when they are played by a great violinist.
A very interesting lesson, thanks for sharing. :)
