Los Angeles County has continued to provide the highest quality training and information to the recreational scuba diving community.
Scuba Air Snorkeling (SAS) classes as well as Basic Scuba Diver, Advanced Diver, and Underwater Instructor certification courses are available. We emphasize diving safety and respect for the environment.
This L.A. County Underwater Instructors history presentation was produced by the late Charles Gibbs (18 UICC) for the 50th UICC anniversary banquet. No other film document exists that covers the extensive LAC history at this time.
In this first segment we spotlight LA County Instructors Tim Terry, Barbara Alen, Ron Merker, and Eric Hanauer.
