Yes you can convert it to use 5.45 in C.S., but like I stated earlier, I choose not to because the 5.56 ammo is more available at that point in the game.

The F2000 is only available in 5.56. Can you convert it to 5.45 in Clear Sky? In ShoC (modded or unmodded), 5.56 is widely available in all post-Bar areas (including 100 Rads where you can buy it from Barkeep). I think the AK-74/GP-25 is my favorite rifle/launcher combo. I like the F2000, but I like to be able to use iron sights. With the AK-74, you can take a scope on or off as needed. Plus, the Russianness of it fits the scene. Plus, it's durable.

When you get the F2000, the 5.56 ammo is more available from then on if I remember correctly. All I know is that my enemies died incredibly quickly (I always aim for the head) with the F2000 using the 5.56. So much that I felt that it wasn't even a fair fight, to tell you the truth.

In reality, 9x39 packs way more punch than 5.56.
