When I first saw this I thought it was part of Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica. Why does that magical girl sound like a boy?

This commercial was the brainchild of the extremely talented Shoko Ikeda, the character designer for Haruhi Suzumiya and one of the best animators at Kyoto Animation. She served as this commercial's storyboarder, unit director, character designer and animation director. Personally, I love all of her works, and I can see why Ms. Ikeda ranks among Kyoto Animation's most talented staff members.
