TraumaOne hosted a Safe Walk at John E. Ford Elementary School in Jacksonville, Florida. Approximately 700 children participated as they learned how to safely navigate busy roads to and from schools.
Shands Jacksonville's trauma program is widely recognized as one of the largest in the nation, seeing almost 4,300 patients annually, of which about 2,500 are admitted. TraumaOne's aeromedical ambulance service is used exclusively to transport severely injured patients and those suffering from strokes, poison exposure or cardiac emergencies.
