Funny Chinese translations found in China: What the f*&%?

In 2002, Kingsoft tended to translate GAN1 and GAN4 as "fuck" because they use the same simplified sign and GAN4 can mean "to ruin" or "to be a disaster for." The problem is that GAN1 can mean "to do" or "to dry" or can be used as an adjective to mean "dried."

Consequently if you typed into the software, "What do you want to do?" in Simplified Chinese, you'd get back "What do you want to fuck?" (Kingsoft 2002)

"Loose Dried Fruit" becomes "Spread to fuck the fruit" etc

@superdaveXtreme The word that consistently translates to f*** means "dry" (among other things, but most commonly "dry"). So "F*** the fruit" is the (incorrect) translation for "dried fruit," etc. All these signs were written by people using the same bad translator!
