Bravo lads. A beautiful model and it seemed to behave much like the real thing. A very skilful landing - a relief to see the model appeared undamaged. In response to one of the earlier posts, of course the model is a "Dambuster" Lancaster - mid-upper turret removed and the cut-away belly. The squadron marking of "AJ" denotes 617 Squadron at the time of the Dams Raid (May 1943) and being "AJ-P" it is a model of "P-Popsie" flown by the famous Australian, Micky Martin. Any particular reason?

@deejayk2 you coulda got a real one. I seen one last year that flew up here in Canada. It still flies regularly and is owned by The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.

Absolutely fabulous - that was a thoroughly enjoyable clip and congratulations on a superb landing! As a matter of interest how long did it take to build and at what cost?

awsom landing a lot of money at stake (good 4 barnes wallece and the bouncing bomb)
I know this is a bit bizarre - but my aunt has recently died and she said she would love to have her ashes scattered over the thames by a lancaster bomber!! - obviously we cant get hold of a real one - can you put me in touch of any enthusiasts that may be willing to help out?
