New ending. Sorry to everyone who commented before, but I had to re-edit the end, it was bugging me. Anyway, this is a little look at the life and death of D(C)I Sam Tyler from the original BBC production of 'Life on Mars', set to Murray Gold's 'A Dazzling End' from Doctor Who...which is fitting for John Simm.

Fantastic edit. Absolutely fantastic. Combining my favourite musical track with one of the best shows in the world (and might I add, fuck the US version).

(Re-watching, I realized how you cut in the beginning between Sam's looking around on the rooftop and looking around in '73 - I never made that connection before, that he does that both times. Pretty cool.)

@Bloodraven216 While some of the US episodes were lifted directly from the UK original, about half of the US episodes were different, and directed toward the producers' own unique vision of the Grand Mystery.

Wow I haven't even seen any Life on Mars episodes (I know the general plotline) but just watching this gets me emotional :L Well done :)

Lovely use of color to indicate Sam's realization of 'real' and 'unreal' - not even slightly anvilicious and very effective.
I enjoyed this a lot, thanks for making it. What was the original ending?

Ta muchly! - it wasn't a huge change, just adding the replay of the final jump from b & w to colour. Trust me, it made all the difference to the pacing.
