If you played this for somone and they didn't know it was Melanie they'd swear up and down it was Whitney. Play it and close your eyes and you'll think the same thing. This is a spot-on performance from a young college student. Just wait.......

I dont like how she shouts high notes....and she dont have that special sweetness in her voice, like f.e. Drew have. B at most.

if you listen to some of whitneys versions...melanie sang the song at a higher key..i can only imagine how much greater the song would have been if it was wholw and had some riffs and rolls :) FANTASTIC JOB...not swallowed up by the song
