I just got these yesterday 4/12/2010. There are 8 of them in all in this newly setup tank. I got my shells from

The sand is Eco-Complete African Cichlid sand, and it set the pH to about 8.2 in my tank. Very easy for a cichlid noob like me. I really hope these guys form a colony and breed. So far, they just seem interested in exploring the space.
