Egypt's Coptic Christians will learn who is to be their new leader after a blindfolded altar boy, believed to be directed by God, chooses one of three names out of a box. The new Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of All Africa in the Holy See of St Mark the Apostle will on Sunday succeed Pope Shenuda III, who died in March leaving behind a community anxious about its future under an Islamist-led government. He will be the 118th pope in a line dating back to the origins of Christianity and to Saint Mark, the apostle and author of one of the four Gospels, who brought the new faith to Egypt. Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from Cairo.

Don't let outsider Christian and Muslim extremist bigots divide you, they want to see Egypt fall, don't let them win and respect each other. Best of luck :)

Where does the bible teach that everything we believe has to be explictly in the bible? The bible does not teach we are to believe only if it is explicitly taught in the bible. The bible hints of it, but it was taught by the apostles to their successors. It is part of the tradition and does not contradict

this purification does not take place all at once. It takes place over time and even after death. So this verse does not contradict the teachings of Christ church. It goes with it

these protestant churches came around 1600 years or more after the death of the apostles and began teaching things new and never believed before in the Christian world. Therefore I will not accept their teachings. I stick with what the apostles and their success or taught

There is only one final judgment and only two comings of Christ. This is what the Christian church as taught through the ages and what is confessed in the Creeds.

The Church Jesus established has the authority to interpret scripture. It is not of any private (outside of the church) interpretation. Your interpretation of Matthew 25 is just wrong.

Are you saying that people should not pray for each other since that would some how take away the mediating, intercessing, and advocating work of Christ? As Christians we all play a role in what Christ is fully. Our Blessed Mother does so also.
