@Larry; the flashing light generally means the heli is no longer bound to the transmitter. Read through the manual on binding and re-bind as described. Also, be sure to turn the transmitter (controller) on before you plug the flight battery into the heli. If the transmitter is not on the heli will default to bind mode (red light flashing).

I've just purchased a Blade Scout CX and whenever I insert the battery (Fully charged) the Heli will just keep flashing instead of staying as a solid red. PLEASE reply and help me on this one, I really need it.

@SwedishRC I agree. Syma's are a great way to see if you like R/C helis but they are just toys. A hobby grade heli like the Blade line up will be much more enjoyable and fixable if you crash too much =]
