Anyways, the world is much more complex than you can imagine, you can not include and satisfy its whole complexity by a lonely sentence. What Russell says is a stupid schematization. You also can say "being depressed is foolish" a.s.f. His trick is that he appeals on your narzism, because nobody wants to be foolish. At least you cannot totally rationalize things wich are not of rational substance.

This is cool, however there seems to be a difficulty in deciding which rule to apply in what set of circumstances; i.e. to distinguish between deciding to love someone and deciding *that* you love them, because you think it would benefit society if you did (which would be forbidden by Russel's first rule).
