  • was ok that is Iron Ring on the Upper Gauley at about 400 cfs This is the left slot next to Woodstock rock which is totally underwater during fall releases 2800 cfs Call this the flume of doom and it is wide enough to wash through as long as you push with your hands a bit haha. We take commercial rafting guests down the upper gauley all summer and are in duckies at these flows. Let them stand on the rocks and jump into the flume of doom SUPER fun but little sketchy the first time you do it.
