An vocalist by the name of Yumiko Takahashi sings it. Note: not to be confused with the j-pop singer/actress. I haven't found much information on her either on JP or English websites

Suikogaiden I covers part of suikoden II through the viewpoint of Nash for the first game.
Suikogaiden II kinda helps set for suikoden III with characters from II appearance.
They don't have any gameplay, you just interact with the story through decisions you make for Nash. These decisions can affect how the story progresses.
The gaidens help to further develop characters from suikoden II and reveal the history of characters such as Sierra Mikain.

Just got the game yesterday, still waiting for the first game to arrive. I'll put the extracts of that up too. At the moment trying to get the CG still images out (ones used in the background here but in color.)
