  • Herman was going to photograph the band that I was in during the eighties. It was going to be such a coup. He had turned down others much more successful than us. We had met him for lunch and he was wonderful, excited about the project. The record company eventually refused us, and gave the job to someone on their books instead. The band vanished soon after, but oh, oh what could have been. Herman is a wonderful man, just like the man up there says.
