DICK Durbin was well-named at birth. He is a facist embarassment (I'm from IL). Why does liberal radio fail? Here goes . . . When an issue is discussed on the radio for FOUR hours, it MUST stand up to great scrutiny. Most liberal positions are indefensible and simply cannot weather the gauntlet of intense public scrutiny.

liberal radio failed because it wasn't funded by the deep pockets of the republican national commitee the way limbaugh's is. rush's thinking is clouded by the large amounts of oxycottin he puts in his body.

Typical neocon. Unable to see the clear common sense right in front of them. You claim your expansions of government are somehow "exceptions" that fall into some sort of "necessary" category.

What you don't understand is that it's just partisan zombie talk. Why are you allowed to choose what is exempt and what counts? The Democrats could just as well argue that universal healthcare is simply "necessary", as with other regulations they wish to impose.

Y do only THOSE policies count as "big"?

I guess I'm too nuansed for your tiny little brain. You scold people who are "small government" on the one hand, yet demand government involvement on a certain subject. I merely point out that small government people have always been supportive of government involvement on certain issues withouth them being seen as inconsistent, due to the important of the topics. Such as crime, etc. Every small government person supports some kind of regulation of certain issues.
